ATTACK of the BASEBALL CARDS will have a Special In-Store AUTOGRAPH SIGNING, Sunday July 18th from 2-3pm with former Negro League NY Black Yankees pitcher ROBERT SCOTT. Scott, a member of Jackie Robinson's Traveling All-Star Teams in the 1950's, is featured in 2010 TOPPS ALLEN & GINTER (card #255). Autograph prices will be announced shortly. Prior to the signing (Noon-2pm) ATTACK will also hold a MINI PACK WARS!!!

Topps Officials To Attend & Hold Q&A Session!!!
Attack of the Baseball Cards has been selected as the site of a Special Topps Night on Thursday evening, July 29th. The event will run from 7:00pm though 8:30pm. John C. Buscaglia, Vice President Sales at Topps & David Reel, Director of Topps Hobby Sales will be at ATTACK and will hold a questions & answer session. There will be contests, FREE PACKS and prizes as well as discounts on purchases.

Attack now has more outlets for internet users. Attack now has more timely updates daily on Facebook.com. In addition, Attack is now producing video's of many in-store events. These video's are available for viewing on faceboo.com as well as youtube.com.
Kids Receive FREE MERCHANDISE For Good Grades In School!
Always education minded, Attack of the Baseball Cards will begin, for the 16th year it's Good Student Redemption Program. The program will start with the beginning of the new school year after Labor Day. Students can bring any Quiz, test, report or report card (dated post September 7, 2009) into Attack. Students will receive Good Student Bucks for good grades. Papers can be brought into Attack in quantities of 10 or less and only shown to Steve. Good Student Bucks can be save up (no expiration date) and redeemed for special merchandise that includes supplies, packs and single cards. This program (among others) was a model for Topps "Topps of the Class" Education Program.
GOOD STUDENT GETS GREAT PULL!
Being a good student can pay off with a great education, a wonderful future career and a fantastic hockey card!!! That's one of the results of Attack's Good Student Redemption Program. For Tyler B. from South Orange, the end of school and good grades turned into Good Student Bucks. The Good Student Bucks were than used to purchase a pack of 2007-08 UD Mini-Jersey Hockey. Oh, what a surprise Tyler found inside that pack. The youngster found a redemption card, placed in just, one in every 360 packs, good for an $80.00, Autographed Mini-Jersey signed by NHL star Ryan Miller! The South Orange 11 year old, who just two weeks earlier attended an Attack Seminar, will redeem his card and give the autograph a proud resting place in his home.
ATTACK'S TO HOLD SECOND APPRAISAL DAY!!!
Attack of the Baseball Cards will hold it's second Free Appraisal Day this fall. The first one was a big hit. In May 2008, owner Steve Mandy along with longtime autograph expert Mike Kushner did verbal appraisals on cards, card collections, autographs & memorabilia. There was a fee for written appraisals. Among the top items were a 1984 Detroit Tigers World Championship Autographed Team Ball appraised at $1,000.00 and a 1930 Philadelphia Athletics World Championship Team Ball signed by Hall of Famers Lefty Grove, Jimmie Foxx and Connie Mack. The Athletics ball was appraised at over $3,000.00. Several card collections were also appraised as well as memorabilia that included NY Mets 1969 World Series Ticket Stubs valued at $150.00 each. TOPPS MILLION CARD GIVEAWAY NOW UNDERWAY!
Topps has announced the opening new promotion called the Topps Million Card Giveaway. The slogan for the contest sums it up perfectly, Topps is giving you back the cards your mom threw out.
Codes have been printed on select cards & inserted into packs of recently released 2010 Topps Series 1 Baseball. Code cards have been seeded at an overall rate of 1 in 6 hobby packs or 1 in every HTA jumbo 50 card pack! Codes can be submitted via the contest's website at http://www.toppscards.com/. Upon entering a code on the site, you will win a random Topps card manufactured between the years of 1952 and 2009. The cards can be delivered, used in a special Topps sweepstakes, or even kept online and traded using one's online Topps account.
Cal Ripken Jr., will be the spokesman for this promotion. Customers will have the possibility of landing a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle Rookie card. We have more than one Mantle rookie card in this, said Warren Friss, V.P. and G.M. of Topps Sports & Entertainment. We have at least three.
ATTACK SELLING SHEA STADIUM BRICKS!!!
Fans of the NY Mets can place items from Shea Stadium on their gift lists. Attack of the Baseball Cards is now carrying relics from Shea Stadium. The sale features one of a kind items from the NY Mets home for the past 45 years. Included in the sale are small bricks which were located in foul territory and large bricks that were in fair territory. Each brick has a special hologram attached to it and also comes with a matching Certificate of Authenticity from the NY Mets.
ATTACK OFFERS MLBPA'S HOBBY COLLECTING SEMINARS FOR LOCAL SCOUTS & YOUTH GROUPS!
The Major League Baseball Players Association has announced an exciting new den meeting program available for Boy, Cub and Webelos Scouts and Attack of the Baseball Cards will be a participating store! Packs are invited to visit Attack to learn all about baseball cards, ways to collect them and play fun card games. Scouts will be able to earn the Wolf Achievement #6: Start A Collection and the Bear Elective #22: Collecting Things! All Scouts who attend the learning seminars will receive a free Starter Kit featuring packs of Major League Baseball trading cards, a guide to collecting and a collectors tin to store their new cards.
